Spot welding

Skilcraft can produce high-tolerance welding fabrications using our multiple DC resistance spot-welding machines.

Our welds meet AWS D17.2 with weld schedules, macro inspection, pull test and custom fixtures that result in precise dimensional tolerance parts, and high strength / high cosmetic surface finishes for extreme applications. Our systems use light-guided spot locations and can be controlled programmatically.

Skilcraft is able to spot weld materials ranging in thickness from .020 to .250 inches.

Wide-ranging applications

Skilcraft’s final assemblies are used in applications such aerospace engines, medical devices, hermetically sealed enclosures and space applications. Skilcraft is also a DOD-approved vendor able to manufacture sensitive parts for military work.
